On Wednesday, May 7th at 5:00 PM, Rep. Panetta is hosting another virtual town hall to hear directly from constituents and to discuss how these short-sighted trade policies are impacting our community. Rep. Thursday, April 17th, I’m teaming up with my friend, colleague, and neighboring U.S. Representative, Rep. Sam Liccardo, for a special town hall at Los Gatos High School at 7:00 PM. This will be my 15th town hall this year.
Together, Rep. Liccardo and I represent different parts of San Jose, but we share the same commitment to protecting our democracy, upholding the rule of law, and pushing back against extreme proposals that would slash Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and food assistance for our constituents.

I’m hosting another important town hall in Santa Cruz County on Friday, March 28th, at 9:00 AM at Cabrillo College, Samper Hall (6500 Soquel Dr, Aptos, CA 95003).
At this upcoming town hall, I’ll be joined by expert panelists, physicians, and health care providers to discuss the real consequences of the Majority’s budget reconciliation legislation and its potential to slash Medicaid services and other critical health care programs.

I’m hosting another town hall in South San Jose on Friday, March 21, at 3:00 PM at Evergreen Valley College, located at 3095 Yerba Buena Road. The town hall will be in the EVC Theater, which is located in the Performing Arts Facility. Please park in Lot 9.

As your United States Representative, I believe that protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid is non-negotiable. These vital programs support millions of Americans, including retirees, disabled workers, survivors, children, and seniors. They must remain strong and accessible. But right now, these benefits are under serious threat.

On Tuesday, March 18 at 5:00 PM, I will be hosting a virtual town hall to discuss Social Security and the overhaul of this agency by the Trump Administration. I am planning to have former Social Security Commissioner and former Governor of Maryland, Martin O’Malley, on the line as a special guest to discuss Social Security issues and to answer your questions.

I’m hosting a Medicaid Townhall on Friday, March 7th, from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM at Monterey Peninsula College (Lecture Forum 103, 980 Fremont Street, Monterey, CA 93940).
On Monday, September 11th, from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM, I’ll be holding a community town hall meeting alongside Santa Clara County District 1 Supervisor Sylvia Arenas at the Santa Teresa Branch Library (290 International Circle, San Jose, 95119).
