Town Hall in Paso Robles to Discuss on the Impacts of the Tax Bill

I hope that you can join me on Wednesday, July 9th, at 12:00 PM for another one of my town halls, this time in Paso Robles at Centennial Park located at 600 Nickerson Drive.
The newly enacted tax law includes tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans and major cuts to programs for working families, like Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, nutrition assistance, and clean energy incentives. Moreover, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the legislation adds $4.1 trillion to the national debt.
It has been projected that over 12,000 people in California’s 19th District stand to lose their healthcare coverage. Local hospitals could see dramatic increases in uncompensated care. And SNAP food assistance is being slashed, even as families face high grocery prices.
During my town hall, I will explain what is in the bill, how it will affect us, and how I’m continuing to fight for policies that support working families across California’s 19th Congressional District.
SEATING IS LIMITED AND WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.
ONCE THE AUDITORIUM FILLS UP, WE WILL BE FORCED TO CLOSE THE DOORS.
