WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Jimmy Panetta (CA-20) signed a discharge petition to force a vote to restore net neutrality protections. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) moved in December 2017 to roll back net neutrality rules for Internet providers put in place under the previous Administration. On May 16, the Senate passed a measure restoring net neutrality rules.
