As your U.S. Representative, I’m fighting to ensure that our laws are enforced humanely, Congress can pass comprehensive immigration reform, we secure our southern border, and we provide all residents with responsive casework no matter their status. My office is here to assist the people of California’s 19th Congressional District, no matter their status, if they are experiencing issues with the federal government, including with naturalization applications, permanent residency renewals, visa and passport issues, or petitions for family members. If you are having issues with the federal government, contact any of my district offices for assistance.

DACA Recipients
If you are are a recipient of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), California operates a DACA Legal Help guide online at immigrantguide.ca.gov and by phone at (800) 807-6755.

Immigration Legal Assistance
If you are in need of legal assistance regarding your immigration status, residents of California’s 19th Congressional District are encouraged to reach out to their county government for assistance. Statewide legal services can be accessed through the California Department of Social Services at cdss.ca.gov or by phone at (916) 651-8017. Services are also provided by State Bar of California at calbar.ca.gov or by phone at (415) 538-2000.

Consular Services
Your country of origin may offer consular services for you, including help with renewing passports or some Deferred Action for Child Arrivals (DACA). Under international law, consulates are protected locations that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will not enter

County Resources

Every county in CA-19 has resources for immigrants, including legal services and guides to social programs that are open to everyone, regardless of immigration status. Nobody will be reported to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement simply for talking to a California government agency.

Santa Clara County

Santa Cruz County
Santa Cruz County offers immigration services through the human services department which can be reached at (888) 421-8080 or santacruzhumanservices.org/Home/ImmigrationResources. Legal services at santacruz.courts.ca.gov/self-help.

Employment Services
For information on employment, disability, and paid leave services visit edd.ca.gov/en/disability/undocumented_workers or call (800) 300-5616.

Health Insurance
Most immigrants qualify for health coverage. For more information visit coveredca.com/learning-center/information-for-immigrants or call (800) 300-1506.

Food Aid & Social Services
For food assistance, immigrants can visit getcalfresh.org/immigrants and for general social services families are encouraged to visit cdss.ca.gov/immigration-services.

Servicios Consulares 
Su país de origen puede ofrecer servicios consulares, incluso ayudarle a renovar pasaportes o algunos temas de Consideración de Acción Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA, por sus siglas en inglés).
