Washington, D.C. - Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) and Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) and introduced the VSO Equal Tax Treatment (VETT) Act, bipartisan and bicameral legislation which would update a provision in the Federal tax code that currently prevents Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) from accepting tax-deductible donations unless they maintain a membership of at least 90 percent wartime veterans.

WASHINGTON, D.C – Today,  U.S. Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) joined Congresswoman Robin L. Kelly (IL-02) to introduce of the Federal Firearm Licensee Act. This legislation, first introduced in 2021 would update sections in the U.S. Code directed at federal firearms licensees (FFLs) that have not been updated in 30 years.

Panetta previously introduced the legislation last Congress.
