WASHINGTON – Yesterday evening, Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif.) testified in support of his amendment to the budget resolution (S.Con.Res.3) to allow people to keep their health care plan if the Affordable Care Act is repealed. Congressman Panetta's amendment would protect health care for 30 million people nationally, including 5 million Californians, half a million Californian children and 65,000 Central Coast residents.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif) praised President Obama for expanding the existing California Coastal National Monument by 6,230 acres by adding to the existing monument, which stretches for 1,100 miles along the length of California. The monument currently protects more than 20,000 rocks and small islands, including areas already off California's Central Coast.
