Monterey, CA – Today, U.S Representatives Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) and Zoe Lofgren (CA-18) announced that the Monterey County AmeriCorps will receive $920,000 in federal funding for literacy programs in the Alisal Union, Chualar Union, King City Union, and Monterey Peninsula Unified School Districts.
