San Jose, CA – United States Representative Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) announced the student winners of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for California’s 19^th Congressional District. This year, 60 students from across California’s 19^th Congressional District participated in the challenge, developing 44 original apps tackling issues ranging from sustainability, education, and social justice. Student participants included middle and high school students from 18 different schools.

Monterey, CA – United States Representative Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) announced that he recently secured $935,000 in community project funding for the Cambria Community Services District Fire Department to purchase a new Type 1 fire engine. The purchase of a state-of-the-art engine is expected to improve the Cambria Fire Department’s ability to serve and protect the Cambria community, as well as offer aid to neighboring communities, including San Simeon.
