WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representatives Jimmy Panetta (CA-19), Zoe Lofgren (CA-18), the Ranking Member of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, Anna Eshoo (CA-16), and Ro Khanna (CA-17) announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) and U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) will distribute a total of $357,342 to the San Jose State University Research Foundation for two research projects seeking to promote cultural and economic equity in STEM fields, specifically for startups and students.
