Panetta Announces Over $13 Million for Monterey County Early Education Programs
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif.), announced that the Monterey County Office of Education received a federal grant totaling $13,184,828 to continue Head Start and Early Head Start services in Monterey County.
“I firmly believe that education is the incubator of American innovation, prosperity, and economic equality,” said Congressman Panetta. “This grant will help children in Monterey County build the foundation they will need to be successful students. I will continue to advocate for robust funding for education programs like Head Start.”
