Congressman Panetta Announces Federal Grant for Marina Municipal Airport

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-Carmel Valley) announced that the Marina Municipal Airport was awarded a federal grant totaling $1,392,300 from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The grant will be used to extend Taxiway B to 3,483 feet.

"Federal support for our local infrastructure is vitally important to our community. I am proud to work with the Marina Municipal Airport to secure this grant." said Congressman Panetta. "These improvements will help the Marina Municipal Airport to meet its operational needs."
